Emergency water extraction in Toronto
Emergency water extraction in Toronto, any hour: Safesite pumps standing water out of basements, kitchens, condo units and commercial spaces, then sets up drying on the same visit.
We’re open 24 hours from our Scarborough office, with IICRC-certified technicians, and reviewers describe us arriving within the hour.

Why the first hours matter
Standing water keeps soaking into drywall, subfloor and framing for as long as it sits. The sooner it’s out, the more of your floors and walls can be dried instead of torn out, and the smaller the job and the claim.
What we do on an extraction call
- Find and stop the source: burst pipe, supply line, water heater, appliance or roof
- Check for electrical risk before anyone walks in
- Pump out standing water and extract water from carpet and underpad
- Set air movers and dehumidifiers before we leave
- Photograph the damage and start the moisture log for your insurer

Condos and commercial spaces
In a condo, water rarely stays in one unit. We work with property management on the units below and around the source, and keep records that show where the water started. For stores and offices, we can work around your hours once the emergency is under control.
Questions
What if it’s the middle of the night?
Call anyway. We’re open 24 hours every day, including holidays.
Should I try to vacuum it up myself?
A shop vac helps with a small spill. For anything deeper than a puddle, or water near electrical, call us and keep clear until we’ve checked it.
Is extraction the whole job?
No. Extraction removes the water you can see; drying removes the water inside the materials. We do both and check for mold before we finish.
